Mr Feather's Den is a treasure trove of collectibles based in Featherston, Wairarapa.

The 'Den' is known for its many delights and oddities. We sell mid-century pieces - including West German, Italian, Scandinavian and New Zealand ceramics and pottery. We have retro (and vintage) lamps with collectible (preloved) bases and new shades that are made with very cool rare bark cloth previously unused but harking from a few decades ago. We have an ever-changing stock of taxidermy animals and birds. Some you can hang on your wall, some you can wear and some you can simply love. We have some repurposed and upcycled furniture pieces plus - some really cool weird stuff.

The Wairarapa region is home to an amazingly creative local community of artists and artisans - and especially so in Featherston. Naturally then, we stock locally handcrafted beautiful things - like pipes, which come with a name and a story of their own and are made right here by Campbell Kneale. And jewellery ranges by some of New Zealand's most creative artists - including Imogen Wilson, Wylde River, Sebastien and Christina Bonallack.
